Astill Residential was formed by John and Michelle Astill in 1996, however, John Astill has been involved in rental property since 1985 when he saw rental potential in his first bachelor flat in the heart of the China Town district of Newcastle.
John has built a successful home based residential lettings business operating with minimum overheads. Without having to pay for a shop/business premises, and all other associated costs, Astill Residential can operate competitively with the larger letting agents based on the high street. Those savings can be passed on to all prospective tenants by charging no administrative or agency fees. A typical admin fee can range from £60-100 per tenant. With a small portfolio of properties, we can offer a dedicated personal service to tenants and selected private landlords. They can also benefit from our reliable ‘in-house’ maintenance team operating 7 day a week 24 hour service. We pride ourselves on quick same day response to most maintenance issues.
Our aim is to have all properties fully let all the time and to maintain a high standard throughout the portfolio.
